Is Sunrise Learning Academy a Good Fit for Your Family?

Choosing the right school is about more than academics—it’s about fit.

Sunrise Learning Academy is intentionally small, relationship-driven, and mission-focused.
We encourage families to review the questions below thoughtfully before scheduling a tour.

SLA May Be a Great Fit If…

✔ Your child benefits from small class sizes and individualized attention

✔ Your child has struggled academically or emotionally in traditional classrooms

✔ Your family values character development, accountability, and emotional growth

✔ Your child has ADHD, learning differences, or needs flexibility in how they learn

✔ Your child has experienced trauma, instability, or major life transitions

✔ You’re looking for a school that prioritizes relationships over rigid systems

✔ You value clear communication and partnership between school and home

✔ You are comfortable with a Christ-centered school culture, even if your family does not identify as Christian

✔ You are open to restorative discipline and growth-focused support

SLA May Not Be the Best Fit If…

✖ You are looking for a large campus with competitive sports or extensive extracurricular teams

✖ Your child thrives best in highly rigid, test-driven environments

✖ You are seeking a school that uses punitive or zero-tolerance discipline

✖ You expect academic progress without active family partnership

✖ You are uncomfortable with faith-informed values shaping school culture

✖ You prefer minimal communication or involvement with your child’s educators

(This does not mean your child cannot succeed—it simply means another environment may serve your family better.)
